It’s time to be climate positive

We’re in the midst of a climate emergency. And we can all do our bit by making positive changes that help protect our planet.

This is why Skylark recently got in touch with ON A MISSION, a Swiss non-profit who help businesses and individuals offset their carbon emissions through carefully selected reforestation projects.

ON A MISSION are doing vital, amazing work. In Nepal they have planted 4 million trees, reforesting mountain sides and restoring native forests and ecosystems while lifting villagers out of poverty. And in Brazil they are reconnecting the Atlantic Forest, one of the world’s top five biodiversity hotspots, through wildlife corridors. Animals such as the black lion, tamarin, ocelots, anteaters and even pumas have now returned to the area. The tree seedlings are grown in community-based nurseries run by local women, while members of the Brazilian Landless Workers Movement plant the trees.
